Last week in Fantasy Premier League saw some big points fall for full-backs.

Patrick van Aanholt (£5.0m) scored the joint-highest score in Gameweek 17 as the Sunderland wing back bagged a huge 15 points after scoring and keeping a clean sheet, not to mention picking up all three bonus point as well.

Cesar Azpilicueta (£6.5m) has been integral to Chelsea’s wide play this season and the Spaniard picked up 12 points (1 assist, 1 clean sheet, 3 bonus points) as Chelsea won at Crystal Palace. He has taken eight bonus points in Chelsea’s last three games.

Danny Rose (£5.9m) scored the winning goal as Spurs came from behind to beat Burnley. The left back scored 11 points thanks to his strike and three bonus points.

Other notable scorers were Jay Rodriguez (£6.3m) and Alvaro Negredo (£6.3m) who both scored braces.

Read below for tips on the players with low ownerships that could gain you points this week:

Goalkeeper:

Darren Randolph (£4.4m) 0.8% ownership – It’s not surprising that the West Ham keeper has such a low ownership, as previous to the Hammers’ last two matches they hadn’t kept a clean sheet all season. But two CS in a row along with upcoming fixtures against Swansea, Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough make the Irishman a decent option.

Defender:

Ashley Williams (£4.9m) 7.4% ownership – Everton haven’t been the best defenders the season but over recent weeks they’ve reduced the amount of goals they’re conceding. With upcoming fixtures against a Jamie Vardy-less Leicester and Hull, they might find that elusive clean sheet.

Midfielder:

Dele Alli (£8.1m) 5.1% ownership – Not quite the bargain he was last season but Alli has come good in recent weeks. The midfielder was moved to a more central role against Burnley and scored the equaliser. Pochettino had moved the 20-year-old to the left for the previous two games but over the last three matches that he’s played in the middle, he’s registered three assists and a goal.

Striker:

Andre Gray (£6.1m) 2.7% ownership – The striker has come back into the fold at Burnley recently, Sean Dyche’s side’s next two fixtures are against Middlesbrough and Sunderland, both of which are at Turf Moor. The Clarets have scored 14 goals at home compared to just the two they’ve managed away from Lancashire.
