There’s still of plenty of time to make an impact in Fantasy Premier League this season. If you’re struggling in your mini league, then AllSportsNews has picked its five players that we think are going to have a big 2017.

Paul Pogba: £8.5m – 11.7% ownership

The most-expensive footballer on the planet had a slow start to his second spell in Manchester but has found his feet in recent gameweeks. With United on the rise as well expect Pogba to keep picking up the points as he develops his partnership with Zlatan.

Salomon Rondon: £6.8m – 9.2% ownership

The striker has seven goals this season including a hat-trick against Swansea. West Brom have been playing some good football under Tony Pulis and have an excellent run of fixtures at the beginning of 2017.

Ryan Fraser: £4.8m – 0.6% ownership

The midfielder has scored big when he has played including a goal and assist against Arsenal in the last gameweek. He has looked threatening for Eddie Howe’s side and could be their best threat for the rest of the season.

Adama Traoré: £4.8m – 0.2% ownership

This could be a differential if you’re looking to play someone that no one else owns. Traore has shown that he has no trouble beating players but his end product has been wayward. Boro have some nice fixtures coming up and if he can grab a goal his confidence may grow.

Leighton Baines: £5.5m – 8.4% ownership

The left back has re-established his place in the team following his injury earlier in the season. Everton have some nice fixtures for quite a few gameweeks and with Baines on penalty duty, points could well be coming in for the full back.
