Spanish La Liga – Barcelona vs Real Madrid live streaming on bet365
Barcelona will this Saturday take on Real Madrid in the first El Clasico of the 2016/17 Spanish La Liga season, and you can follow all the action in live streaming.
Barcelona head into this weekend’s clash in desperate need of a win, with Luis Enrique’s side unable to afford falling even further behind in the title race. Adding to their woes are the history books, with the last meeting between the two teams at the Nou Camp resulting in a 2-1 win for Real. Lose this week, and Barca could be nine-points adrift of table-topping Real come the end of the weekend.
The hosts this week head into the game in need of improvement if they are to overturn perhaps the strongest side in European football at present, with Enrique’s team of superstars winning just two of their last six matches. Of those games is two back to back 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad and Hercules respectively, with the latter happening midweek in the Copa Del Rey.
Barcelona have struggled in recent times with injuries, with the likes of Jeremy Mathieu, Samuel Umtiti and Gerard Pique all battling to be fit for Barca’s biggest game of the season so far. One man who is set to return to action is Andreas Iniesta, with the influential midfielder likely to provide back up for the holy trinity of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in attack. The three have looked below par of late, however that wont stop Messi trying to score his tenth goal of the season, Suarez his ninth and Neymar his fifth.
Real Madrid have had no such qualms in recent weeks and enter the fray this week looking to bag a seventh win in La Liga on the bounce. A 2-1 win over Sporting Gijon last weekend marked their most recent success, while a 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid last time out away from home will do wonders for their confidence ahead of Saturday’s visit to the Nou Camp.
With a team like Madrid’s, losing is always a rare occurrence, however when star player Cristiano Ronaldo hits form they simply go up a level. The Portuguese maestro has been in fine fettle of late, scoring all three goals against Atleti and twice against Gijon to bring his tally to eight goals in four games, and his season’s total to ten from ten starts.
While Ronaldo will be the man to watch, Real will have to be wary in other areas of the pitch as they too battle injury concerns. Gareth Bale will miss the game thanks to an ankle injury and the in-form Alvaro Morata is likely to sit this one out too thanks to an injury picked up on international duty three weeks ago. Toni Kroos is also injured, however Casemiro, who was spectacular in this fixture last season, is set to return to the heart of Real’s defence.
