The long wait is finally over for fight fans as they will be able to witness another showdown between two outstanding fighters of the modern era in one of the biggest boxing vs MMA crossover fights in the history.

According to TMZ Sports, who interviewed Dana White, the fighters will face each other at 154-pounds in a 12-round bout using 10-ounce gloves which will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Although the negotiation involved a lot of exchanged trash-talks and fierce, the fight is clearly drawing a lot of attention from the public as McGregor, who currently reigns as the UFC Lightweight Champion, will be having his debut as a professional boxer, fighting against arguably the best defensive fighter of all time in Mayweather.

Mayweather, who has been semi-retired since 2015 and holds a perfect professional record of 49 wins (26 KOs), will have his chance of extending his streak to 50 wins and break the tie with Rocky Marciano for the best undefeated record in boxing history. An impressive victory into this fight will no doubt leave a long-lasting impression on his legacy.

For McGregor, this seems to be the biggest payday of his career as he is reportedly expecting to make more than $100 Million.

The bad blood between the two is definitely a thing to watch out for as this fight's hype was built from amid trash-talks and heated exchange of words. From weigh-in to press conferences, the face-off between the two will surely bring excitement.
