Write off Atalanta at your peril. They should continue their momentum through to the cup.

Contrasting form for these sides suggests there should be only one winner.

Atalanta have been the surprise package of the season and nothing can stop them.

Bet365 make Atalanta 9/20 with Pescara priced at 6/1. The draw is 10/3

Atalanta have been making great strides forward this season and set a new club record of six consecutive victories on Sunday. Few sides find it an easy task going to Bologna and coming home with a full complement of points, but Atalanta made it look easy running out 2-0 winners.

They opening the Serie A season with four defeats from their opening five and it was looking like a tough season ahead, but Gian Piero Gasperini has made his side tough to beat and eye catching in the final third.

They eased through the previous round of the competition with a 3-0 win over Cremonese to set up a tie with Serie A strugglers Pescara.

Since being promoted from Serie B, Pescara have struggled for form. They showed plenty of spirit at the weekend though, but once again, their defence was their undoing. They found themselves 2-0 down within 15 minutes thanks to an Edin Dzeko double.

They fought back though and despite a valiant effort, they still went away without any points.

They were missing some big players at the weekend as well with the likes of Albert Aquiliani, Hugo Campagnaro and Michele Fornasier all missing.

The majority of those players plus Bruno are unlikely to feature here.

They've lost six matches in a row domestically and this will come as chance to try out a few fringe players. They started the season with a 2-2 draw with Napoli and a victory over Sassuolo.

They beat Frosinone at home to progress to this stage of the competition.

Atalanta should win this, but without knowing line ups, it's hard to recommend a price as short as 9/20. Instead, back Atalanta to win and both teams to score? Yes at 9/4 with Bet365.

Pescara showed a lot of spirit at the weekend and almost snatched something from the match with Roma. They should get on the scoresheet, so back Both Teams to score? Yes at 10/11

Andrea Petagna could play some part in this match and is likely to get chances. He's 6/4 anytime with Bet365
